S. Roger Dominey

Growing up in Charleston, South Carolina instilled in me a deep sense of community and commitment, values that have shaped every chapter of my career. A graduate of The Citadel, I began my professional journey in the insurance and financial services industry before founding Financial Design Associates (FDA), with offices in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Cincinnati, Ohio. I later relocated the firm to Jacksonville, Florida, where I became General Agent for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual).

Under my leadership, FDA consistently ranked among the top firms in the industry and earned multiple workplace and community service awards, including recognition from Florida Trend, the Jacksonville Business Journal, and Jacksonville Magazine. As the firm grew, we rebranded as MassMutual Southeast Coast to reflect our expanded footprint and strategic reach.

That growth ultimately led to a merger with Coastal Wealth, now the largest MassMutual financial services firm in the nation. Following the merger, I was named Executive Vice President of the combined firm, a role that reflected the growth we had worked hard to build.

Throughout my career, I've remained committed to professional excellence. I'm a Qualifying and Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) with Quarter Century status and a member of the Court of the Table, which recognizes the top 1% of insurance professionals worldwide. I hold the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU^®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC^®), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®) designations, and I've earned the Diamond International Management Award from GAMA International in recognition of sustained excellence in leadership and management.

I've also had the privilege of serving the broader professional community as Past-President of NAIFA-Jacksonville and the Estate Planning Council of Northeast Florida, and in leadership roles with the Hilton Head Association of Life Underwriters and the Hilton Head Estate and Financial Advisors. Service beyond the office has always been important to me, and I previously served on the Board of Directors for the Children's Home Society of Northeast Florida.
