Carolina Villalba

I grew up in Bogotá, Colombia, spent time living in Bonn, Germany to learn the language and immerse myself in the culture, and eventually put down roots in Alpharetta, Georgia, where I have lived since 1997. That kind of journey teaches you to listen carefully and meet people where they are, two things that turn out to be essential in financial services.

Before this chapter of my career, I spent years in corporate leadership at The Coca-Cola Company and Novamex, leading teams, building client relationships, and learning what it takes to grow something sustainable. Working closely with business owners in construction, food service, and retail, I kept seeing the same pattern: hardworking people who had built real businesses but had never been given the tools to protect or grow what they had earned. That observation became a calling.

Today, at RAM Capital Group, I work with individuals and business owners on financial planning, retirement strategies, tax planning, risk management, and wealth protection. My approach is straightforward: I take the complicated and make it comprehensible. Financial decisions carry real weight, and my clients deserve to understand exactly what they are doing and why.

I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Finance from Kennesaw State University and an Executive MBA from the Universitat de Barcelona. I am licensed in life and health insurance.

Giving back to my community is not an afterthought for me. I serve as a board member of Latinas Rise and Latinas in Construction, a division of the Georgia Hispanic Construction Association (GHCA), and I am an active ambassador with the GHCA and the Latin American Chamber of Commerce (LACC). Much of that community work centers on financial literacy and helping entrepreneurs understand how to build lasting wealth, not just revenue.

My husband, Mauricio Guzman, owns Cronos Contractors and is a former President of the Hispanic Construction Association. His network introduced me to many of the construction professionals I now serve, and his entrepreneurial mindset has shaped how I think about business ownership and risk. Our son Lucas is ten years old and keeps us both grounded and inspired. Outside the office, our family spends time traveling, hiking, paddleboarding, and cheering Lucas on at his swim meets.

I got into this work because I believe financial education changes lives. Every family I help and every business owner I guide is a step toward something bigger than a single transaction. That is what keeps me going.
